On first of June 2006, MAN Diesel proudly presented the DieselHouse – an international attraction in Copenhagen. DieselHouse is built around a giant B&W diesel engine from 1932, which was the world’s biggest diesel engine for more than 30 years.
In state-of-the-art displays, the technological development is coupled with the energy supply history of Copenhagen, the development of the B&W shipyard and engine factory through 150 years. The exhibition also focus on the transportation of goods across the seas as well as the application of the diesel technology around the world.
Opening hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Thursday and the first and third Sunday of the month from 10 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. Admission is free.
