22.05.2003 - The blower consists of a horizontally split cast iron casing, supported on four feet and featuring four inlet nozzles and one outlet nozzle. The rotor with two, three or four impellers is supported in two bearings mounted in screwed-on bearing pedestals.
To drive the blower via a gear unit and coupling, it is connected to the drive machine (electric motor, steam turbine etc.).
The gear unit is located on the oil tank. The complete oil system is mounted on the oil tank with all the required ancillaries and internal pipework.
