Dr. Hans-O. Jeskestarted his professional career by training as a machine fitter. He subsequently studied Mechanical Engineering at the Hanover University of Applied Sciences and Arts (FH) and the Technical University of Hanover (TU) and his doctoral thesis was on "Flow in Centrifugal Compressors".
Following his studies Dr. Jeske joined MAN Turbo for the first time. After further positions in various functions outside the company, he returned to MAN Turbo in 1997 taking control of the former Products for Energy Generation business unit.
From 2001 Dr. Hans-O. Jeskewas a member of the Management Board of MAN Turbo and initially headed up the Technology and Production area. Since mid-2008 he was the board member responsible for the Process Industry Division.
Since 01 February 2010 he has been a member of the Executive Board of MAN Diesel & Turbo SE, responsible for Technology (Chief Technology Officer) and the Strategic Business Unit Turbomachinery. From the 22nd of February until the 31st of August 2011 he has been the interim CEO of MAN Diesel & Turbo SE.
